My role
I was the solo Product Designer collaborating with the founder. My responsibilities include project planning, project management, design execution, and implementation.
Timeline
Four weeks, including project planning, market research, user flow ideation, product design, and prototyping.
Tools I used
Figma, Google Meet
What we have achieved in a four week engagement
Competitive analysis
Explore the major e-commerce platforms in the US to uncover opportunities for Trainge.
Low-fidelity sketch
Provide three distinct design directions optimizing the buyer and seller’s user experience.
Mid-fidelity sketch
Focus on the chosen approach and fine-tune the specifics to ensure that the latest user flows are accurately reflected.
Final design & prototype
Design the app's user interface and create an interactive prototype using Figma.
Problem statement
Inefficiencies in Trainge’s latest e-commerce platform's user flow hinder seamless interactions between buyers and sellers.
This project targets these redundancies to enhance efficiency and satisfaction for fitness enthusiasts.
Rename each title and create a dedicated space for sellers to quickly access related functions.
Updated navigation bar
To enhance user experience, we decide to rename and update the items on the navigation bar for better clarity.
Better categorization in account page
To improve the seller's accessibility, we created a dedicated category with all the features to help them set up and manage their store.
Dashboard to save users time
We've created a dashboard on the account page that offers users a convenient overview of their most important information. With just a glance, users can access shortcuts to the data that matters most to them.
Straightforward navigation for both buyer and seller.
Sellers can now easily access related functions with a simplified user flow that consolidates redundant pages.
A cohesive pattern across the app
With the new design, users can easily switch between different products, identify the page they are viewing, and view the product status.
A simplified user flows
To enhance the efficiency of managing the store and its products, we consolidate the redundant pages. It streamlines the process and makes it easier to oversee all aspects of the store in one place.
Develope components that can be used throughout the app, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience.
An interactive prototype built in Figma to showcase ideas and bring them to life.
